Holly Hibbert is a committed Jesus-follower with a desire to see the Church rise up in the glorious freedom the gospel makes possible so the world will be drawn by the light shining through the victorious Bride, and join in praise to God. She began dancing in the context of passionate congregational worship and then received a strong technical foundation at the Ithaca Ballet. Part of a dramatic dance troupe for years, she subsequently explored several movement forms in Seattle in conjunction with her counseling studies (including modern, contact improv, authentic movement, & partner dancing), considering their integration with healing. She led and taught groups there and has ministered in dance in other nations (India, Costa Rica & Nicaragua) and locally on the streets of Ithaca, NY.
Holly enjoys using movement concepts to help people of all ages in their relationships and creative expression; she loves the process of co-creating with the Holy Spirit to communicate God's WORD in fresh ways, allowing her classes to be a context for connections promoting unity. A graduate of Gordon College and Mars Hill Graduate School (now the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology), she is currently based in Freeville, NY in the local fellowship of believers where she was raised. She travels to the states to dance, pray, and help leaders find ways to inspire their people to receive the precious seed of God's Word into good soil through uniquely crafted integrative creative movement and meditation experiences.
